The Hilltop Board of Trustees gathered via Zoom for our first official meeting of the school year. We are excited for the upcoming year! We have a dynamic, enthusiastic, multi-talented group of Trustees this year, and we have some big projects to tackle. Keep an eye out for opportunities to work with the Board!
This year, the Board really wanted to focus on developing relationships with the newer staff and faculty that Hilltop has hired over the past 18 months, as COVID protocols last year left us feeling a little disconnected from programming. We started with our new Director of Development, Erin Wessel! Erin presented her ideas regarding a number of upcoming development projects, including Annual Fund, Grandparents and Special Friends Day, and drumroll….. Hilltop’s 50th anniversary year! We had a long, engaged discussion regarding Hilltop’s fundraising goals, principles, and desire to align with community-centered fundraising principles. There is always an opportunity to participate and give, whether it’s time, money or emotional support, and we value everybody’s contribution. Stay tuned for upcoming Development events and updates!
