William Alloway is the parent of Ronan, a student in Children’s House, who’s been at Hilltop since they were a small toddler. Will was raised in the Southern Vermont area and returned here with their wife, Eliza, before having Ronan. Will is an Architectural Designer by training with a focus on Sustainable Design and Intergenerational Community Living, and worked as a cooperative owner-employee at Austin Design locally until leaving recently to design and build their family’s new home in Putney. Will worked in masonry and construction before moving on to design and brings all of this experience to their role on the board with a special interest on the building projects happening on campus over the next few years. In their free time, you might see them wearing full armor at Gallery Walk and fighting with a sword with other members of their club, Vermont Armored Combat.
