Violet McLaren

Violet (she/her) was born and raised in Florida, where she was homeschooled and attended a Montessori school for pre-school. After that, she attended both public and magnet schools, but the Montessori values of independence and intrinsic learning continued to shape her educational journey, creativity, and personal growth. Violet earned a Bachelor’s in Anthropology and a minor in Classical Studies from the University of Florida. Inspired by her deep passion for human culture and history, as well as her lifelong love of learning, she decided to bring her expertise to Hilltop Montessori School as an assistant teacher.

Violet is thrilled to join the Hilltop Montessori faculty, where she can contribute to the growth, learning, and well-being of our students. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, paddleboarding, painting, and reading.
