Vicky grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where her mother ran a home-based child care program and taught her early on how to nurture and care for our youngest children. Her parents are Syrian and Spanish and influenced Vicky’s love of languages, food, and gardening.
For the last five years, Vicky was the director of a nature-based early childhood center in Montpelier, Vermont. She has lived, learned and worked in various parts of the world in different capacities, often outdoors with children. Vicky is happy to be back in Brattleboro, where she originally moved in 2009 to get her master’s degree at SIT Graduate Institute, focusing on education for social justice.
Her niece, Simone, attended Hilltop as a toddler through Lower Elementary and Vicky is excited to join the community!
