A former Montessori child herself, Rebecca has been guiding children in Montessori Primary classrooms since 2020. She earned her Montessori Credential through the New England Montessori Teacher Education Center in 2024 and is deeply committed to fostering children’s independence, curiosity, and awe through careful observation and developmentally informed practice.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College with a concentration in contemporary classical composition and musicology. Her background in the arts continues to shape her work as an educator.

Before entering the classroom, Rebecca spent many years as a composer, performer, and music educator teaching private lessons and leading ensembles for students of all ages. She completed an internship at the Institute for the Musical Arts in Goshen, Massachusetts, where she served as a private instructor, ensemble leader, and mentor for girls and nonbinary youth. She has also worked as a Direct Support Professional in Vocational Services, supporting adults with disabilities and developing a deep appreciation for neurodiversity, individualized learning, and the importance of building communities and accessible public spaces where all people can thrive.

Outside of school, Rebecca enjoys singing and playing guitar, piano, and banjo, composing music, rockhounding local beaches, visiting aquariums, and gathering with friends over a good board game.
