Emilia grew up in Western Massachusetts, where she cultivated a deep appreciation for nature, lifelong learning, and being present in her surroundings. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Women & Gender Studies at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. This past year, she worked as a Restorative Practice Counselor, where she strengthened her communication, social-emotional learning, and restorative practice skills through direct student support and conflict resolution work. She is passionate about continually expanding her understanding of the world around her, supporting others in pursuing their passions, promoting humanity and individuality, and bringing positive energy to those around her.
This year, Emilia will be working in the Lower Elementary Classroom as a Teaching Assistant.
In her free time, she enjoys expressing her creativity and unwinding through photography, making art, writing, wood burning, and spending time in nature—especially near a serene body of water.
