Jill Malin

Jill Malin brings years of experience as both a Montessori educator and a children’s music and movement specialist to Hilltop. She directed Blue Hills Music Together for 15 years before earning her Early Childhood Montessori certification from the New England Montessori Teacher Education Center – a transition inspired by witnessing the beauty and deep respect of the Montessori approach as her own two daughters thrived in Montessori classrooms.

Jill has led in both the Primary and Toddler classrooms at Ocean State Montessori School in Providence, RI.  She holds degrees in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University and New England Conservatory and spent many years as a professional singer in the New England classical music scene, most notably as a soloist and ensemble member with Bostons Handel and Haydn Society.

Outside the classroom, Jill enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs and curling up with her cats and a good book.
