Children's House Assistant

Ali Crivelli

Ali grew up in New Jersey and, as the daughter of a teacher, was always drawn to education. She attended Hamilton College, where she majored in Chinese Language and Literature in 2014. After graduating, she managed an after-school early literacy program in San Francisco, then taught 5th grade at an arts-based school in Brooklyn. In 2018, she received a Master’s degree in Teaching Foreign Language from Middlebury College and moved back to New Jersey to teach Chinese and ESL for 3 years. Listening to her heart, Ali went back to teaching younger students, first as a Forest Kindergarten teacher at a nature-based school and then as a 1st/2nd grade English teacher at a Chinese immersion school. Ali is excited to be moving to Brattleboro and joining the Hilltop community! In her free time, she enjoys reading, quality time with loved ones, walks, yoga, swimming and tap dancing.
