Presented by Sara Donahue, MSW, LICSW
This workshop is geared to caretakers of students in Lower El, Upper El, and Middle School, as they encounter the tricky situations that naturally arise for young people, both within and outside the school day. Participants will learn strategies for becoming a “Consultant Parent” with respect to the specific skill of teaching problem-solving to kids. The workshop will offer participants the opportunity to share ideas, gain new skills, and access a framework for teaching problem-solving in the home through empathy, thoughtful questions, and a redulated approach.
*This is an adult only event. We set the later time of this event to accommodate working families, and hope that families can arrange for one caregiver to attend and others to be home with children.
