Nora (class of ’00) grew up in Brattleboro, and attended Hilltop for nine years. She completed her BA at Oberlin College and received a masters in environmental studies with a science teaching certificate from Antioch University New England. She returned to Hilltop in 2009 to care for the new campus and quickly found her home in the Middle School teaching math and science. She has a passion for local agriculture and environmental conservation. When not singing the quadratic formula with her students, Nora can be found wandering the woods with her dogs, pulling glossy buckthorn out of the hedges, making music with a hospice choir, raising poultry, and messing about in boats.
