Hilltop Montessori School supports working families by providing BeforeCare and AfterCare to extend the day for Toddler through Upper Elementary students. The programs allow for freedom of choice for activities and are geared to the ages and interests of the children participating. We are excited to further support economic diversity and expand our Index Tuition Program to include Before and AfterCare. We are offering Before and AfterCare at an indexed rate, for those who have applied through SSS and have qualified for an Indexed Tuition of 75%, 50%, or 25%. This means that if you have applied for and received need-based Indexed Tuition you will also be billed for any Before and AfterCare that your student uses at your indexed rate! All students must be enrolled in advance. Drop-ins are limited and must be cleared through the front office by calling 802-257-0500 ext 102 or email, [email protected] to confirm there is room.
Middle School – Prior arrangements and consent with the Middle School teachers. Middle School students are welcome to begin their day as early as 7:30 a.m. and extend it as late as 5 p.m.
BeforeCare begins at 7:40 a.m. and ends at 8:15 a.m. and is available to any child at Hilltop. This program is held in the multi-use space of the Arts Barn. There is opportunity for children to eat a breakfast brought from home, exercise in the gym, or work at a table in the theater area. At 8:15 toddlers and Children’s House students join their programs for arrival on the playground (or in the classroom in inclement weather), while Elementary students join their peers starting their day in the classroom.
The AfterCare Program provides extended care for Toddlers, Children’s House Students, and Elementary students.
Hilltop also offers a changing variety of high quality after school sports and enrichment programs to students Kindergarten through 8th Grade. These programs include 6 – 8 week sessions, such as sports teams, additional languages, and other enrichment activities offered by local experts. These activities are fun and experiential for the participating children. They also help to extend the day for families that need more hours of child supervision.
