Ways to Give

Hilltop Montessori School’s Giving Program runs from July 1 to June 30. All gifts to Hilltop are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, and will be acknowledged in writing for tax purposes. All donors will be recognized in the Hilltop Annual Report, and may be listed as “Anonymous” by request. Please contact Amelia Farnum for more information at 802.257.0500 ext 107.

Most donors make outright gifts by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Hilltop Montessori School and mailed to Hilltop at 99 Stafford Farm Hill, Brattleboro, VT 05301.

Credit Card
Hilltop also accepts gifts and pledge payments. Credit card gifts and pledge payments can be made online, phoned in, or mailed to the Development Office at 99 Stafford Farm Hill, Brattleboro, VT 05301. Please include the donor’s name, credit card number and expiration date, as well as the amount of the gift and to which Fund the gift should be allocated.

The Wheeler Fund

To ensure Hilltop will continue to attract and retain the best and brightest Montessori faculty for its students, gifts to the Wheeler Fund directly support faculty training, professional development and benefits. This fund is named in honor of Hilltop founder and long time Head of School, Tonia Wheeler.

Gifts of Securities
For gifts of securities, the gift will be valued on the day that one’s securities are transferred to Hilltop. The contributor’s broker should contact the Development Office for details regarding account information (802.257.0500 ext 107).

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many corporations offer employees Matching Gift programs. This is an easy way to double or triple the value of your gift. Contributors should obtain a matching gift form from their employer and mail or drop it off at the Development Office along with their gift or pledge payment.

A bequest is a gift made through your will or living trust. It is a straightforward way to make a gift to Hilltop, and worthy of your consideration. A bequest might be used to ensure your annual contributions continue, or to make a special one-time gift to our school.
