Before/After Care for Children's House and Elementary Programs
Hilltop Montessori School supports working families by providing Before Care and After Care to extend the day. The programs allow for freedom of choice for activities and are geared to the ages and interests of the children participating. These programs can be reserved regularly for a flat fee, or can be used on individual days for an hourly rate.
Before Care begins at 7:40 a.m. and ends at 8:15 a.m. and is available to any child at Hilltop. This program is held in the multi-use space of the Arts Barn. There is opportunity for children to eat a breakfast brought from home, exercise in the gym, or work at a table in the theater area. At 8:15 toddlers and Children’s House students join their programs for arrival on the playground (or in the classroom in inclement weather), while Elementary students join their peers starting their day in the classroom.
The After Care Program provides extended care for Toddlers, Children’s House Students, and Elementary students.

After School Enrichment Programs
Hilltop also offers a changing variety of high quality after school sports and enrichment programs to children of many ages. We have 6-8 week sessions drawing on the experience of many local experts. Some examples of this are Mountain Biking with Daq Woods, Illustrating with John Gurney, Cultural Cooking with Elizabeth Rosenberg and
Historical Fencing with Ian Bigelow. These activities are fun and experiential for the participating children. We also have sports activities and teams for the Elementary and
Middle School students.[LINK] They also help to extend the day for families that need more hours of child supervision.
*Middle School students are welcome to begin their day as early as 7:30 a.m. and extend it as late as 5 p.m. in the Middle School with prior arrangement with the Middle School teachers.
