Parent Involvement is Key to Hilltop's Success!

Parents play a vital role in the daily life of Hilltop Montessori School. Parent involvement is both welcome and necessary for Hilltop to succeed on every level: educationally, financially, and, most importantly, as a model community for our children.

The support of the parent body—as donors, volunteers and fundraisers—is a defining characteristic and ensures Hilltop Montessori is a lively, vibrant and stable community. Along with the commitment to enroll at Hilltop comes the implicit agreement that parents will take an active role in supporting the school community in one necessary form or another.

In addition to the financial support they provide through the Annual Appeal and Friends of Hilltop Benefit Auction, parents volunteer to clean and paint classrooms, tend Hilltop’s gardens, shop for groceries, accompany classes on field trips or winter sports activities, and share their special talents and skills to enrich the children's studies. A commitment of 10 hours each year from each family greatly enhances every aspect of the school.
